What is a long-term service agreement?

Typically, a long-term service agreement ("LTSA") is an agreement between a customer and a manufacturer for which the manufacturer is responsible for operations, maintenance and repairs of the product purchased by the customer and offered by the manufacturer, for a fee. An LTSA is like an insurance policy or extended warranty. Our company works with providers of LTSA's, that develop LTSA's (not the manufacturer) that provide LTSA's for cogeneration, trigeneration, district energy systems, power plants or physical plants.
